It takes a team of many bakers and front of house staff to make it all happen. Our staff come from all different backgrounds, hometowns, and experiences.

CODA
RETAIL SALES MANAGER
As the Retail Sales Manager, Coda leads the Front of House team in creating a welcoming space for our Montlake neighbors and folks from further afield. Coda is committed to fostering reciprocal relationships by acting as liaison between customers, bakers, and business leadership. Their involvement in cultivating a community-focused space started as a barista at Red Elm Cafe, in the Hilltop District in Tacoma, WA.
Coda is grateful to practice inclusive leadership at the bakery, fostering staff development and training folks on creating delicious espresso beverages. Bringing new beverage specials to our customers with the turning of the seasons is one of their favorite duties.
When Coda isn’t making coffee or coordinating the service team, they love to spend time outdoors, read, and complete a variety of projects in their role at the Evergreen Land Trust.
EMILY
KITCHEN MANAGER
Emily is Oxbow's Kitchen Manager, in part responsible for making production as efficient, smooth, and consistent as possible. Either on the floor or off, she strives to make the bakery a more effective machine. Her passion for making food comes from a desire to make something both beautiful and worthy of sharing. She finds that she most enjoys baking for its constant opportunities to practice and refine skills to make everything a little more perfect---motivated
by the days where everyone comes together and does a great job to make something really wonderful.
When not at the shaping table, Emily can be found sitting at some park, fencing, riding her bike, or spending time with her partner and their darling cat Oatie.
